Here is all I could find...

I have a 1983 308 and the Owner's Pouch has a white card titled, LUBRICANTS COMPARISON CHART. For Cooling System, it simply states Antifreeze for these products...Agip, Shell and Esso. For Mobil it lists Permazone.

In my Ferrari Manual, on page 18 it states Agip Antifreeze Mixture see page 69.

On page 69 it reads, "The engine cooling system is carried out using a water and antifreeze mixture.

Although that isn't a clear answer as to what type or color, it may be good peripheral information for you.

In a big thread about this from some years ago, some sort of test was linked to that gave recommendations based on what the cooling system was made of. What I took from it is that good old green is best for our old cars.

If you change it every year or two then anyone will do. I use prestone 50/50 mix.

I've used Prestone in every car I've owned since 1968 with out ever having a problem. Why change just because there are some more expensive brands on the market. I've had cars start in 35 degree below zero weather.

Not sure if it makes a difference, but the mechanic I use recommends Volvo coolant purchased from a Volvo dealership. The stuff is blue and seems to work nicely. He claims that there is something in it that is superior to others. I didn't ask but I'm sure he would recommend for all cars. Just mix it 50/50.
