    Hi
I live in the Albany NY area and I'm am studying 3x8's to buy, say next yr. I have been reading this site as well as others, and books.
Does anyone have a QV I can come and look at?
Maybe talk about the qv some and learn more about it from someone who has one. I also like the carb 308's as well. Thanks

Sorry, but I sold my '84 QV about a year ago. They're great cars, very strong and reliable.
I purchased it with 40,000 miles and put an extra 35,000 miles on her in 3 years. Still
running great. If there's anything specific you'd like to know, ask. I would definitely stick
with the QV's or go for a 328.

I bought my '85 308 from Peter Sweeney in the early spring this year. See http://www.forzamotorsports.com. He's a very knowledgeable and I recommend you go for a visit when you are serious. It should not be too bad a drive (NW CT).

If he doesn't have one. I bet he still knows where to find one. The yellow carb car on his site is very nice. Saw it last year.

Didn't somebody here just buy that one? I seem to remember seeing a thread. Maybe they were just looking at it...

I recently bought the red '83 GTS QV from Forza, it's still on the website showing as sold; the yellow '77 doesn't show up as sold at this point.

Depends on the car, I think. We reached an accord.

I almost bought the red 330 2+2 they had until recently; we negotiated a mutually-satisfactory reduction off asking.

On the '83 308 GTS, I didn't make an offer and paid asking price, since the PPI showed no probs and the asking was very much in line for a car in such excellent condition.

Peter's a very nice and reasonable guy, and will work with prospective buyers on price, but he also knows his business...he doesn't give cars away.

I liked the yellow carbed car also...it was a decision between that one and the QV I bought.
