    http://www.samnet.net/alfaguy/Ferrari/Article/index.html

some impressive times for this car, even by today's standards, I expect Murray to get the hot axe out onto his ratty old 308 now :D

!! PP. Admitting it to yourself neither confirms nor denies it... it's what other see that makes it so.....

This car was in the UK for a while I think. Is it pino verde... like Scotts own 308? Memory a bit hazy, but I think it came to DK shortly before I was there. Photo on the tea room wall or something I think?

Great idea. An old 330 engine could be found for peanuts nowadays.

It was originally done in America, as per the article. The guy wrote a big instruction manual on "how to" and I believe that there were some other examples made. I recall that one went to England; but I don't know if it was the original.
As to why? Some folks just are not into the new "mass production" Ferraris.
I reckon it's a great idea and I would love to drive one. I can't imagine paying to have the conversion done though.

I reckon it would be cheaper than a Michelotto engine refresh and step 4 upgrade ... currently approx 50,000 euro

HAHAHAHAHA I just printed that out and put it in a frame :D

why not ?! it's probably faster than a Stradale :D although it would never look as good,. I must say the CS is one of the few good looking 360s , the Michy being the only other that grabs the eye.

Actually, that is totally untrue. The perception a person has of anything and everything makes it that person's reality. Hence, if I think you're an idiot, just for example, then my reality is that you are.

As another example, you think you know a lot about Ferraris and that you're a good looking, sexy and intelligent man. I can assure you that that's only your reality!

And that's another thing I would like to drive; but have no interest in paying for.

Why would you think such a thing? I neither forgive nor forget. I remain wonderfully pleasant, but distant.

See PP, your stupidity is positively throbbing now.....

If I cared what I looked like, I wouldn't leave the house.

Sexy?! Ha. I'm a pom remember.

Intelligent. HAHA!! I make a living fixing cars that are occasionally owned by knobs like you. That makes me incredibly stupid ...by fact and my own admission. A smart man would have seen you coming, LISTENED to the advice he got from people that knew about you, and told you to phukk off rather than bend over backwards working too cheaply trying to save you huge amounts of money with resourceful solutions to your cars numerous problems. We would all have been better off if you went elsewhere and paid more for less in the first place...

Know a lot about Ferrari.... yes. Too much.

Speaking of which, I've had a flash back. The 308V12 I saw in UK, was a 400i engine, with the metering units in the boot.

    Errrr.

Back on topic, Fchatter Atlantaman has a V12 308 (although I think it's currently back in V8 mode while he rebuilds the 12). He would be the guy to talk to about this conversion and what it involved.
