    Hi, I am facing a peculier issue recently with the accelerator of my 348. the car doesnt seem to bring the revs back down after accelerating. it takes at least 1-2 secs before the revs come back down. has anyone had a similar problem. What can I do to fix it. Thanks

    1) Check to make sure that your floor mat hasn't been pushed underneath the gas pedal, it's the most common problem.

    After that, you would need to find out if the pedal shaft needs lubrication, or if the cable is sticking inside the housing, or if the linkage cross shaft at the engine is hitting something. If it's all OK mechanically, then you may have a vacuum leak. Chances are that it's something simple.

    Happened to me when I first bought my 348. It was the floor mat. I had the OEM mats under aftermarket mats. So I took the OEM mats out.
