348 Gearbox

Looking for a Very Low Mileage 348 Gearbox from a Speciale or Spider (93-95). Around 5-10k miles and everything in perfect and working order. Must provide documentation and pictures.

As mentioned in the 348/355 I had no clue these are so hard to find or source.
I assumed (wrong, never assume anything) these were as common as the 355 to find.
Give a brother a break and let's find him one

Was the Speciale or Spider Gearbox different from the equivalent year TB/TS/GTB/GTS?

I have a 348 trans in stock $4500, it is pulled from a fire damaged TS. Unfortunately since the interior was burned I do not know the mileage. If interested you can email me directly for more information.

Just a question that might help, can you post the car's VIN? A carfax from it might give a close number regarding mileage.

Another question for my research, did the fire originate in the dash area, the HVAC under the front hood or elsewhere?

Unfortunately Wade I do not know where fire origionated as the entire front area was burnt including the intereior.
