    Mines at 1100 rpm on my 1994 spider. Ferrari has told me that the correct idle speed.

    The official figure is 1000 rpm plus or minus 100 rpm, but don't forget the rev counter may be reading either high or low !

    According to the book as well as the notice on my engine lid. The idle should be 950 +-50RPM.

    I hope that helps....btw...mine idles smoothly @ ~1000
