Guys, I have seen the threads discussing Mass Air Meters on 348 cars. It seems like mine has been rebuilt but is triggering a code on bank 5-8. I am certain its the MAF because the CEL follows the bank that MAF is on. I have been on the hunt to buy a replacement but haven't had much luck. Does anyone on here happen to have a good used one? Or, can you give me a source? I'd like to just buy one since I think there's most likely a good chance that mine is shot. If I can't buy one, Ill send it out to be rebuilt and hope for the best. Thanks!

No longer available, I was able to find 2 of them new about a 18 months ago, in the mean time you can have them rebuilt better than new.

I was going to mail my MAF to Fuel Injection Corp. I saw their name from the forum. My fear is that mine will be unrepairable.

They're all unrepairable. They put an all new board in with upgraded components...at least that was my understanding. I got a sealed unit back. They did both a year ago in October for $550...not sure if that price still holds.

Until they are open and looked at you really don’t know what state they are in
For under 1k (both units) it is worth it

Hi Hope all is well my brothers in the 348/355 coral.

Just had a question on MAF. One of mine went on the fritz again (It was on the left side, would trigger the check engine light, moved to the right, check engine light followed it)

So I bought some cheap china knockoff off eBay the Bosch 0280212018; check engine light turns off.

The question is, does it matter what MAF I use? I've read inconsistent thoughts on if it matters.

I also noticed the 383 hhz is at 0 when I measured the pins.

There is a long thread where I've seen some folks say it matters, and others say nope. Any new consensus or thoughts?

Hi guys, I post here because I don’t have idea on how open a new thread. Today I had a problem with my 34, at a certain point, it seemed to bog down, struggling to rev up and gain speed. It continued like this for seventy kilometers, and then it started working again. I thought it could be the maf or a fuel pump issue. Do you have any suggestions? Bye
