I created a blog where I aggregate and share my thoughts on 348s currently for sale. My intention is to add one new example a day.

Do I think anyone will read it? Maybe. Realistically my hope is the blog will appear in a google search if potential buyers search for a car’s vin.

Aww, thanks. I think it’s a great car and the buyer seems honest and responsive. I made some posts on BaT already which express my opinions. In short: the lowers are a little nasty. Personally I’d re-paint them in black or red, get an exhaust, and put spacers on the rear. That’s it.

The only question is: what’s going to break once you start driving it. Yes it’s had *a lot* of maintenance, but it hasn’t been driven as best I can tell. I’m certain issues will come up as you drive her, but they’ll stabilize.

I saw your comments on BaT after I posted this .

The fact that it's been sitting for a while makes me hesitate a bit. I'm sure there will be a bunch of little things that pop-up as it gets driven and I've had a non-exotic that was like this, kind of a half barn find and there was a bunch of little things that needed to be fixed. Mostly gaskets and rubber items. Not a big deal on that car, but it wasn't a Ferrari, so I'm not sure what I'd be in for on a vehicle like this.

I had heard that cars before 93 were had more issues with them, but not sure how true that is now. Maybe that was when the they were new vs now that parts have been updated / replaced during maintenance? I'm still learning about the various iterations of this car, so I'm not sure.

Anyhow, great resource and I hope you keep updating it!

What size spacers do you put on the rears? Also what size tires do you run? And where do you get them. I never really noticed till I read your post. Thank you

Yes, on your post on 2/27 , you stated you would put spacers on the rear.

I can appreciate a modified 348/55 if it’s well-done, but this is hot garbage. Absolute trash.

348 prices seem to be all over the place on BAT. Red one with 60k miles sold for 82. It needs full service.

In the comments, the buyer was saying $100k when you include the buyer's fee, shipping and service. Personally, I think it's the wheels and that it's not two-tone. Really modernizes the car IMO.
