Beautiful car! I much prefer the OEM wheels, but to each his own. Artwork!

I have been searching for a set although these have grown on me as well. I think these make it look more modern and the oem wheels more vintage. Good to have both.

Wow, just noticed that some Fchat heavyweights have spoken here, must be 348's are on the rise in terms of respect.

Car #45 is no longer a ? on the ss lists ;)

That's a really pretty color for that car. Just shows the lines off beautifully.

I do think that the Challenge wheels or perhaps even 355 wheels would set the car off just right and look in-period, yet more modern than the somewhat clunky OEM 348 wheels. The current wheels are nice, but just a bit too modern for the car. But all that matters is that you like them.

    Gorgeous SS!

People seem to forget that wheels bolt on and off quite easily with no lingering damage. ;-)

Your car looks amazing. Blu Sera, especially with the beige interior and those seats, is just stunning.

Glad to see you're enjoying her!

No. Some people are merely expressing their opinion on what they believe would look better on the car. Other people will have a completely different opinion, presumably including the owner, which is the way it should be. If this great looking car were for sale, I doubt anyone would care much about the wheels since, as you astutely pointed out, wheels bolt on and off quite easily with no lingering damage. ;-)

    Agreed. :)

Not saying the current wheels look bad, but some gunmetal Challenge wheels would look sublime on this blue.

Everybody has an opinion about the wheels. This set came with the car, handle nicely and while not what I would have put on, I like the look enough not to change them yet. I have been looking for a set of oem spyder wheels (correct rear width) but will likely keep those as part of the car.
I really posted this so other owners could see the color and car #45 would be represented on the ss lists.
Did not mean for it to become a wheel thread but anyone is welcome to copy some pics and post up a new thread "How do you like these wheels".

There's a reason why 3 out of 4 (of those) are owners... because the 348 is such an awesome car! :)

Beautiful. You need an SS lip spoiler in front though. ;)

Thanks for the heads up...but for where I live that would not last long. I was thinking of skid plates under the bumper to protect it from minor scrapes. If I find an oem splitter I will certainly buy it, at least to have, but would not mount unless the profile is small enough to not be a problem in my rural habitat.
For low cars they are often made of black abs or such and you just replace them as needed but if its going to be painted it becomes an issue. I try and be super careful and the 348 clearance is not bad, just don't want to make it worse!
