    Has anyone cut open the cats remove the insides and weld them back together
    would this hurt anything or cause a cel

    You don't need to cut them open - you can gut them from the ends. However, Fabspeed does offer a re-core service and they cut them open and re-weld after.

    A 95 will run fine with hollow cats. No issues at all. But if you have a good set of factory cats I wouldn't mess with them.
