    This is my first post here, so I'd like to say hi to everyone first. Im 17, and im pretty much obsessed with cars. My dad is also. As far as fcars go, my dad got into the whole bubble in the late '80s early '90s, having two 328's one coupe and one GTS-- his second (black on black) was the last to roll out of the factory. He was always a porsche guy, having his first when he was 19, and about 20 since then. I was too young to appreciate the Ferraris when he had them, so im trying to get him to get another before I go to college. I really like 355's (even though I know there are people who think "if its not a twelve cylinder, its not a ferrari... but the mid engine probably handles pretty nicely). Anyway, there's a nice one at the local dealership (Algar)- '95 coupe with 12K miles, 15K service and timing belts done, great condition asking $79K, on consignment. I was wondering what you guys think?

    THE 95'S ALSO HAVE INHERENT ISSUES THAT ARE AN EXPENSIVE FIX.

    I PURCHASED MY 99 355 GTS F-1 FOR LESS THAN THAT!

    :rolleyes: - please, if you're going to dispense advice - especially to a potential buyer - please at least make sure that it's right. The '95's are solidly built cars, SOME of which that SHARE problems with other model years. The potential for cracked headers, valve guides issues, and "other" stuff have been found on all 355 model year designations. Buy a well-serviced, well-maintained MY95 that you get a PPI done on, and you'll be fine. Believe it or not, some buyers even - gosh forbid! - PREFER the MY95 due to the OBD I sensor.

    Algar's a reputable seller. Pricey, but reputable. Check the car out.

    Seems to me that Michael Schumacher has, in this decade, been winning World Championships for Ferrari in cars powered with engines configurations other than a V12.

    These were all V10 engines, and the upcoming F1 formula is for a (gasp) V8 configuration.

    So, by that outmoded, archaic "V12 = Ferrari" definition, there are some Ferrariiste that won't consider those F1 cars a "Ferrari".

    Ghost bought a 99 355 F1 for less than $79000. I'd have to see the bill of sale or it's a HIGH miler.

    Right for a 99. Are you sure about your pricing and information or are you a bottom feeder?
