355 jack

Hi should my car have come with a jack? PO said he didnt get one with the car it has the can of fix a flat instead of the optional spare tire, also 30 k svc was just done and I can see the cam sprokets and timing belt and I see holes in timing belt cover did dealer forget to install dust shield? Also what is the normal warm idle rpm Thanks Doug

 

My 95' 355 also has the air canister and no jack, the rest of the tool set was complete and untouched, I assummed with no spare=no jack. I beleive my idle temp is about 180.-MICHAEL

 

Spare tire/jack is an option, my 355 did not have dust shields either, I could see the cam pulleys. Idle should be 1000 rpm

 

Mine came with a jack but no spare!

 

I got can,tools covers(seats and steering wheel)no jack and idles about 1000rpm

 

My normal idle (97 355 Spider) rpm is 1000-1100.

....and sometimes when the pedal gets stuck down 10,000 rpm now that was both embrassing and noisy!!

 

Well my car sounds normal it has all tools and red seat and steering wheel cover as well as red stretch car cover and it idles at 1000 rpm I called dealer and they said even though it looks like it is made to have a cover on the upper rear of the timing cover it didnt come with one Thank You for the replys Doug

 

I just got the parts book, it shows an optional spare tire that consumes the entire trunk and a tool kit that has a small scissor jack and a lug wrench. There is a cover for the spare and a bracket that the spare is strapped to that is located on the right side of the luggage compartment.

I can also see my timing belts and it idles at 1k to 1100.
