355 legroom?

I am thinking about buying a 98/99 F355 F1. However, I am a tall guy (6'4) and a little extra leg room would be nice. Here are a couple of questions...

1) Are there any smaller diameter or flat bottom steering wheel options that retain the airbag?
2) Do the seats in the GTB or GTS models go back any more than in the Spider?

 

Not sure about the leg room in a spider, or options on a steering wheel. But I'm 6'2 and have to move the seat forward in my GTB.

 

I've got a 99 Spider, and am 6'1", and have to put the seats forward. I put a Momo wheel on last month - you need a spacer otherwise your fingers touch the console cover, but the wheel -which is available as a flat base racing version - makes a big difference to being able to swing your legs to get out. Having said that, I lost my airbag, but wired a dummy switch to keep the light off and the passenger bag is still activated.

 

i'm 6' 5 and have comfortable room, sometimes even scoot the seat up a little. head has yet to touch the conv roof, even have about an inch of clearance. only thing i dont like is my big feet and three pedals, can be tricky.

 

interesting. I thought the 355 had the same interior space as a 348. I'm 6'3" and barely fit in my 348. Can't imagine being 6'5" in there....

 

Does the 355 have a telescoping steering wheel?
