    I have a missing fastener and can't seem to find a place to buy a replacement. Or maybe this isn't even a do it yourself project.

    Which fastener, on the car or the cover?

    TENAX-3000016 $6.95 is the part you want. You can buy there installation tool, or if you own a snap ring plier, that will work too, simply insert the tips of the snap ring plier in to the retaining ring and unscrew it.
