I had a somewhat similar issue about 2 months ago. The alarm battery finally failed and shorted out a 5 amp fuse behind the drivers seat (Left for me). I unplugged the siren and replaced the fuse, and I was able to start the car. First check, does your fob lock & unlock the doors? Or nothing happens?

    Is everyone from Houston? lol

Give me about 15 minutes and I will go out and snap a pic or two of the removed siren and how I accessed it.

This was going in through the front storage area. It may be possible to go in from the front left wheel-well, but I already had my carpet out.

    Good pics Greg.

shop around for your siren…. Prices vary.. beware of buying old stock which can have old battery. Some have used a gm siren.

They are a sealed unit but not water tight. Moisture gets in there and the battery corrodes cir board melts etc!. In some cases just the battery's are dead with no fried c board and just the battery's can be replaced easily.
Another quality product from Australia, as i write this with my head down in shame.

Is it possible that you can have dead batteries in the siren without ever having a damaged circuit board/blown fuse.
    Thanks

Yes, my sirens C board was intact i unsoldered the battery's and replaced with new one's. IIRC new camaro or vetts alarm siren will work on 360.
    Cheers

Thank you for your reply. Do you remember approximately how long your batteries were dead prior to your replacement.
    Thanks

I've been told by the immobiliser experts that this is normal. I assume your dash LED remained on, however?
