Yeah... that was my thought too. Though, I do have some extra items on mine... I have a front axel lifter and Full electric seats. Those are more heavy, plus my only carbon option is the rear air ducts and driver zone. -A

What do you think for the weight penalty for the seats and lifter? Ferrari lists the official weight as Kerb weight ** 1525 Kg = 3,362 lbs... the ** = with optional equipment. I think that means racing seats, lightweight wheels, lightest possible electronics package..
Checked the weight of my 458 using a truck stop scale and showed 3340lbs with 2/3 fuel, 488 forged wheels, full electric seat option,no other electronic gizmos or lifter and non factory complete exhaust; fabspeed headers, no cats, challenge style muffler.
