I just bought the exact same car a month ago. Prices for 599's other than manuals or GTO's are still coming down, but why wait at this point, they are a bargain compared to new and represent a good value. Life's short. Go for it.

Having owned mine for 3 years without a single 'incident' (recently having sold it for close to what I paid), I agree wholeheartedly.

Its NEVER about price at these levels, we've had the 60%+ discount ......Nobody needs these cars; its all about passion. You will not be disappointed with a 599, its a breed of its own. That Enzo motor is intoxicating in every way. Explosive off the pedal, ballistic acceleration at the flex of an ankle yet deep, lazy torque down low. Its the new 'Daytona' - as was intended IMO.

Holding out for a cheaper one of possibly inferior quality/condition is a mistake. Buy the best one you can possibly afford simply because you can't help but want it. You won't regret it.

The prices will continue to fall, but on a much shallower curve. The steep depreciation has already occurred. I bought a car in June, after 3-4 months of looking, got to know every car on the market, and bought a very good one, at a fair price. Many others were available for less, and some were more $, but whatever you choose, they are too much fun to wait if you found a great car.

A 2010 HGTE will always be worth more than the average market cars. If that is what you want, and the price is in line, go for it.
