911 mileage?

What's your mileage? My DD 997 Turbo-S turned 50,000 miles today and heading to 100k in the next 5 years.

 

39K on my '11 C2S (red/beige). 20K of them are mine in a bit less than 2 years. It's not a DD, but I look for every excuse to drive it...T

 

Excellent. What year? If it's a 997, I'm guessing it's close to 7 or so years old?

07 TT, purchased in 2010 with 15k kms. It currently has 36k kms. Many of the kms are evening summer drives From point A to A.

 

1996 993 turbo, 38k miles of which I put on 20k over the last 10 years.
1997 993 turbo, 31k miles of which I put on 1k over the last 6 months.

 

77 930 - 39k
02 996tt - 25.5k

 

Its 2012 model, first delivered in Nov 2011

 

'78 SC Targa 214k miles.

 

nice bit of mileage on that 78 tcar! has it been bullet proof or?

 

You're my hero! I hope mine has close to that many miles when I'm too old to drive it!

98,000 miles on my Chicago suburbs daily driver 2000 996 C2. Still spotless after all of these years also!

 

I had 63k on my 2006 997 c4s when I sold it in 2013.

 

Best 911 engine. Over-engineered by Porsche after the magnesium block debacle....

these are relatively recent 911... the early 911 have mileage in the hundred of thousands... I have personally driven one past 300,000 miles... while low mileage is displayed by many sellers, I would call foul, as the Porsche enthusiasts I am familiar with drove their cars everyday or as much as they could... they have been extremely reliable and low maintenance... the only time I have observed issues is when they were asked to perform beyond their limits... anyone keeping their 911 within reasonable boundaries will find long term service from a 911 to be nearly bullet proof attested to by the many surviviors

 

I have 140k miles on my 73 RS - personally putting on the last 40,000 miles and enjoyed each and everyone one of them.

I bought my 3.2 in 2005 with 70k, now I have 142k

I just can't imagine not driving this car.

In that time I've rebuilt the engine due to a spun bearing and painted the bumper and hood due to stone chips. If you look after these cars they perform as intended and look great.

88 911- bought 2/02 and driven about 11,000 miles since purchase (total 99K on the clock)
79 930- bought 2/10 and driven about 2500 miles since purchase (total 42K on the clock.

I actually drive my TR 6 a lot more that the P cars....to run errands, drive to the office etc when the weather is good (10 miles RT). The p cars aren't suitable for that (short drives)
