I couldn't agree with you more!
That Britto sh*t is all over the place here in Miami. Enough already!!!!

Its gone from art to just trying to find something new to put his prints on and how much money can he make!

    I've had enough

I like Britto a lot and have some of his works. Even met him once at a gallery, but for the life of me I would never put his art on a car.

Now the pop art Beemers from the eighties are a different story...

Canut, have you seen the Dragon the factory put on their 612? Dolphins aren't much worse.

Britto drove a yellow 355 when I lived in South Beach that he had painted. Not positive, but I'm betting that's his former car.

I'm not sure I would take that car at any price. Ok I'd take it at about 40-50K... But not any more.

While the dragon on the 612 is not pretty, think of ait as a race car with a sponsor with a really ugly logo.
On the other hand the Lambo is like paying somebody to kick you in the nuts.

Wow, that's different then: In that case the car deserves an extra premium as a unique piece of art. Pretty cool.

Easy guys that stuff isn't paint, my brothers neighbour has a Volvo and he takes that film on and off between cars. His Volvo had the print all over and I thought it was paintwork at first. Besides check out the rear challenge grid and you can see the horse under the film.

I didnt realize that the artwork was famous.. I guess if the guy who painted in that style puts it on his car... its cool for him. The Ferrari dragon 612 was the car they used to tour China in a publicity stunt, thus the dragon theme. Still dont like randomly putting murals on sports cars. Guess I am a bit of a purist.

Britto is a top notch pop art artist. His works demand megabucks. Amongst many things he also did one of the famous Absolut Vodka bottles.

The fact that he added his own art to this car puts that car somewhere in the tradition of the Beemer art cars: http://www.bmwworld.com/artcars/

Those cars are not for sale (all museum pieces now) and if they were, they'd cost hundreds of thousands if not millions of $.

I never knew Britto had a Ferrari, but to me that just adds to his coolness.

With 530 hp I don't mind a bit of extra downforce on the rear.

This is not a mutilation, it is a friggin racecar. Or you might call a 512LM a mutilation as well.

Yup. For every person that thinks it's disgusting, there's another 10 that will think it's so beautiful that they shall want to fornicate with it.

    Isn't $105,000 a bit much for an F355?
