Can anyone here tell me the good, bad and ugly on an Alpha spider, spider
veloche and the quadrofiglio? I would kind of like to find a "perfect" late
model, but I really know nothing as to what to expect. I am in no way a
mechanic, so if some kind of maintenance is required on an every time you
drive it basis, then I guess I wouldn't consider it. Anybody have any
    experiences? All responses welcome!

You might get a broader response on www.alfabb.com or www.digest.net (ALFA Forum)

But in a nutshell Spiders are robust. They will need the normal stuff like timing belts etc, but on an occasional basis.
