Anyone else LOVE doing All nighters? I'm drinking a 2 liter bottle of Dr. Pepper to stay awake. :D

I use to do all nighters a lot. I would crash by 11 am and had to stop.

I like to work late, I do my best work. No distractions!!

I need music, so I'm listening to music, and not working. Taking a small break right now. :D Energy drinks are a joke for me, it doesn't help at all, just another drink for me. I always end up crashing sometime along the day, too bad tomorrow I can't. Class starts at 2pm and I end class at 6pm and I got to do a bunch of small errands. :(

Just homework. At least I don't have a project due Tuesday, so I can sleep whenever I get back from class. And why did I just get back on F-chat.

I will respond :D I'm also writing a paper, its a first draft, and I already b/s'ed 2 pages and had the teacher read it, and she apparently like it :D, along with some Pre-calc homework. And I just realized I'm screwed if I fall asleep. I have a Psychology research thing at 10am, so if I miss that, I'm going to have to do extra hours. More math homework due by 11:58pm tonight, and a math test either this Wednesday or Thursday, which I'm probably going to fail since I suck at math. Ah, living the college life. :) Plus, I just drank 1/2 of a 2 liter bottle of Dr. Pepper to stay awake, or for me to make pit stops in the bathroom to stay awake. :D

...but never too busy for Fchat I see!

You have till Wednesday or Thursday for that Math test
that should give you enough time to study and do well on it. Plus im sure if you had problems you could post them
on Fchat and someone would help ya!

O and the Dr. Pepper to stay up...Great pick!

Yeah, F-chat is number 1. Not really, I keep taking these small breaks from writing for research, and since I don't close my browsers, usually f-chat is opened still. :D

and yeah, the DP, I'm from Austin, been to the factory/museum, however far it is from Austin, like 1 and a half hours.

i've pulled my fair share of all nighters over the past few years, i used to be able to pull one and be cool til like 10 the next night, but the past couple of times i've pulled them i was out by 1 or 2 in the afternoon. dp is for wusses, gotta go with the red bull/coffee, :)
luckily for me, i just finished up the last major thing for this semester (a 15 page paper), i've got 2 tests left which i should ace without the all nighters, and i'll only have to take 1 final this semester, :)

Well, Red Bull and Coffee don't do anything, I just need something that makes me stay up and go to the bathroom to stay awake. :D :D You are lucky, and congrats on one final. bastard

And the 2 liter bottle is about 2/3 done. :D Not feeling tired, but I think I have to go take a piss. :D

I'm probably one of the few people who never pulled all nighters in college. My sleep was more important. lol. That's not to say that I didn't work 10+ hours straight on projects during the day.

I did a few all-nighters in college, but many more 2-3am nights with a few hours sleep before showtime.

Most of the ones that turned into all-nighters were driven by fear and not Mountain Dew. You may be different, but I found them to unproductive in the long run.

Now that I am older, I find the thought of doing one makes me want to go to bed right now. I can handle 2am for several days in a row, but missing anentire sleep cycle and I would be a zombie.

+1. I tried to be as efficient as possible when I was awake, and have never pulled an all-nighter for school (for fun, yes). There was never anything so important about school that I had to stay up all night.

Well, I'm surviving still. I just have a headache, I was fine till I took a really hot shower, and then headache. Well I got till 6:30pm to stay up. Till then, I accomplished mostly everything, I try to be productive, but took a few breaks, wound up on f-chat and f-book, and then it was back to work. :D

The best all-nighters are the two nighters, and on the third day you crash for 20. Its good times, just make sure you don't have to work anytime soon after!

    Group projects were the worst.

We, well, they procrastinated and we rushed to finish our 30 page paper up until the last minute. Had 10 minutes to run home, change and get back to present for 30 minutes. Worse thing was, we didn't have any visuals. If we would have had powerpoint we would have had a 100. We got a 90 if I remember correctly.

Another Update: Still awake, but on my walk back from class, I started getting tired. I'm skipping a class, just since I don't want to go to a class where the guy always puts me to sleep, other than exams. :D This sucks.

The latest I would ever stay up in college was around 3 am. After that I was so tired and figured, if I couldn't understand it by now, I won't get it with any less sleep. I figured I should atleast sleep and be confident with what I did know (which sometimes, wasn't a lot).

I'm still in school, but I've never pulled an all nighter. I just don't see the point. Most of the deadlines are feasible (I like to think my program isn't super easy, software engineering), however if I'm behind, I like to wake up around 4am and work then.

Yeah, I understand, It's just that I can never wake up early enough, so I might as well stay up and finish it, and if I finish it, have some sleep. But my bedtime is usually around 2-4am so whatever works. :D I'm sure it's just easier for me to do it since I have a crappy sleep pattern already, and I think I have some kind of sleep disorder :D :D

LOL. I usually went to bed at 1-2am. Even when I had to get up at 6:45-7am. But I was never tired. Then I graduated and it all changed. :D
