    A pair of Lamborghini Murciélago R-GT cars in the GTS class, will make its debut in Round Two of the 2004 ALMS season at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, June 25-27. There will be also a couple of Ferrari 575s, a Saleen S7, a Viper or two, and many Corvettes. After the race, we will know if the Lamborghini can handle these other cars. Until then it is just a matter of opinion.

    Those Lambos are privateers going up against factory backed cars.We all know that he with the most money wins the races.

    The maranellos are not factory backed. isnt that correct? This will be good though. Corvettes are kicking butt.

    Only the Corvette is factory backed. I believe the 575 is a GTC from the factory but without an actual factory team.

    Audi clean swept the ALMS and Lemans etc....
    doesnt Audi own Lamborghini??

    Factory backed race team with tons of cash and top notch drivers. Now that Prodrive has left I doubt anyone will mount a big challenge. Sebring somewhat demonstrated that.
