What's the going rate on 1 year annual service at the dealerships? I have a 2011 458 Italia. I'm being quoted between $700 and $2,000. The $2,000 quote include coolant flush.

$600 typically covers engine oil and filter change, cabin air filter change and chassis lubrication. So $1400 for a coolant flush? Sounds outrageously expensive and would drive DIY.

Interesting; I am a DIY type so I am sure I will change the oil and filters myself; I'm looking into the other items

The later 458 with the 7 yr. maintenance service cycle. 1 yr it is oil chge, filters overall ck. The next yr is the major plus the minor therefore cost will vary for you dependent which service you want.

i was charged about $1,800 at a dealership. i took it there because before i went in they said one more service was covered and then i show up and they say its not. since i was already there and it's an hour a way and a big pain to schedule rides, etc. i just had them do it. i have a local shop i usually go to that charges my less than have. dealerships really rip you off.

You'll need to check with your local Ferrari Dealership what they will charge you for the minor service, but I can't see it would be more than 500.00. Oil change, filter change, air filter change plus a cursory overall eval. The actual air filter can be purchased via internet if you desire to save a few dollars.

What is "major" service on a 458? Mine just had the last of 7 years covered maintenance and I don't see anything remotely major in the receipts (unless you consider an alternator belt or brake fluid major).

Maybe the major service is the cabin air filter they've probably changed 5 times in 2,500 miles?

The plugs were changed on mine in 2018 as part of major service according to invoices I received from PO.

docf, That was the point of my original post; I am being quoted between $700 and $2,000 for a "non-major" annual service by the local dealerships in South Texas. The $2,000 includes a coolant change.

You must be talking to Ferrari of Houston. They charge extra to pay for their racing budget.
