Guided at £220-250K ($300-340K). At these prices, I could be very tempted to get back into Dino ownership! Nicely photographed, too. https://www.handh.co.uk/auction/lot/lot-1971-ferrari-dino-246-gt/?lot=54906&so=0&st=&sto=0&au=504&ef=&et=&ic=False&sd=0&pp=12&pn=1&g=1 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It looks to be in good shape John. I believe the original delivered scheme was Argento Auteil 106-E-1 with nero vinyl 161 interior but Matthias may be able to confirm if this is correct.
It will be interesting to see where the hammer falls. This one https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/1972-ferrari-dino-246-gt-1 went for £243,500 recently. If this one goes at the same sort of level, as per the guide, that means that Dinos have dropped around £100K since the high of 2016 when £350K was around the mark. I lost about £25K on mine, but it was worth every penny for four glorious years of ownership, including the pilgrimage to Maranello in 2018 (for which, thanks again Matthias - an adventure I shall never forget).
The UK market is much stronger for the best cars John. The Collecting Cars one had quite a number of issues on it and that reflected in the lower selling price. This M series has quite a few issues as well in regards to correct finishes so it should sell at a lower figure if buyers are savvy.
