Anyone Hookah?

I love the stuff, I first smoked it in Egypt in '99... Strawberry was my fave... they call it "shisha." I bought a medium sized pipe, but left it at the hotel because I thought it might be a hassle trying to bring it into the country. Theres several places here in Dallas that you can smoke shisha or whetever they call it.

 

Im Lebanese Armenian. I even do it with my parents if i want to!! It's like smoking air.

From 11/77-05/78 I was a Canadian soldier serving as a UN peacekeeper on the Suez Canal in the city of Ismailia, Egypt. We regularily walked into town at night to eat and drink at the local cafes as well as the Australian Air Forces all ranks club. There were a couple of cafes within Ismailia with outdoor tables that were very popular in with the UN soldiers at our base.

At every table was a hookah. Once you became a regular there (drinking stale and flat "Stella" beer and smoking "Nefertiti" cigarettes) and they got to know you better, the complimentary hashish tray was brought out and you could pick from several different colors to smoke in the pipe.

Ever ridden a real camel around the actual pyramids stoned out of your gourd on the best hashish in the world.......I have........

Never smoked tobacco in a hookah......it would have seemed like a waste.

 

LOLOLOL i'm up at Suny Albany, one of my suitemates is jewish and from NYC, he introduced me to the hooka the first day of school. We smoke the hooka all the time, it's a great tool for getting chicks to come over. As of matter of fact the action I got last night was due to the hooka.

 

I don't do it. Had a puff of a cigarette at 13, and that was enough for me.

Both my parents are Iranian and they smoke it all the time. Same with all of our relatives. I haven't used it in a while, but whenever my friends saw it back when I was in high school, they'd say "dude, you have bongs all over your house!" LOL, we have like 6 or 7.

Edit: We call them "qalyouns."

 

I'm iranian and my friend always carries his around with him...
