    Because the world has evolved and AOL didn't keep up..? You are much better getting a gmail account. MUCH BETTER.

    reminds me of a lawyer I met who used AOL & mentioned how he purchased Internet access through them. I tried to explain his building is paying quite a bit each month for access he should not be using AOL for anything...he never understood..

    I'm not sure why anyone would use to AOL.

    gmail but choose to use AOL.

    basically,
    aol charges a monthly fee for email.
    gmail is free email.
    however, how easy is the switch over? and what happens to all my old aol mail?
