    Besides that he died too young, I think he borrows too much from artists like Klimt.

    I agree that he died too young. I would have like to have seen his style developed a little more. I see a slight Klimt influence,
    but I felt that there was too much repetition in his collective body of work. A single piece seems to have so much character;
    you tend to wonder what is going on with the subject from the look on his or her face, it creates a mood. Collectively, they
    all seem to have the same face. Although his style and technique are superior, they remind me of those portrait artists that
    you would see at the mall or state fair. I call them plug-in artists. Same head shape, eyes, nose, mouth, and ears, they would
    just plug-in your child's hair and clothing. Could he have taken his work to another level? I guess we will never know.
