what percentage were optioned with this package ? more or less.
It makes the 296 the best Ferrari ever made.......you will regret buying one without it. Less than 10% of 296 have the AF package. It's a gamechanger. That and carbon fiber seats, and it basically is the Speciale. I love mine! There are some amazing deals, but only on bad configurations with Comfort Seats. The 296 Market is all about config of the car. So many bad builds have sent the prices to rock bottom.
I got the AF but with the comfort seats, that ended up costing more than the CF seats. They look very sporty and I like the adjustability. Not as cool as the CF ones though, I know. Those are epic.
Of the 296 GTBs listed in the US in the last 6 months 12.3% of them had the Extended Assetto Fiorano FIO2 Package (the only one offered in the US). Not surprisingly its significantly lower for the GTS at only 7.4%
