I know, when I first genuinely wanted a GTB/4 (do you remember our talking about it a year or two ago at WWOC?) they were 400K. They are now coming on the market at 700 or more. Same increase Re: Lussos.

the big question is whether Daytonas will follow suit. Certainly, there are more of them, but I think if I owned a Daytona right now, I wouldn't be too displeased with the way things are going.

As for my 275 dream... I pout daily.

is the market growing too fast? are we witnessing another ferrari hype?
are we back in the 80's, or would this be a more permanent evolution?

Our Maserati 4CL-1500 GP sold for 370K Euros.

    The 625LM, 121LM, 330 TRi LM, 412, 196SP did not sell.

Memorabilia sale was a smash, the Car side not so good.

    Regards,

    Bill Noon

118 used to belong to one of my best friends. I'll give him a call and let him know. Overall, I would say that this is a very disappointing result. Sotheby's seems to have stubbed its toe.

edit....."Upon further review" I guess I'd have to say that there was plenty of money willing to be spent, but not quite enough, apparently.
