i'm looking at some photos from 1967 signed with a blue sharpie. now i know if you can remember the sixties you weren't there and since i was i don't remember sharpies or magic markers as i recall them named back then being blue just wide and black. the question is; is the autograph real? the seller, who seems legit, says there is a coa but i still wonder.

The photo may be from the sixties but the autograph may have been done more recently by the driver.

The first question I would ask myself is whether or not the driver is still living. I used sharpies inthe '80's, but some of the drivers have passed for various non-racing reasons.

I have hundreds of vintage signed pix in stock...most, if not all, of the ones from that era are in pen or pencil. Post 90s sigs are in marker, earlier ones are not.

I have a collection of Schumacher and various Ferrari ones that I bought a few years ago, I do doubt the authenticity of some, but then how do you know even with a Coa

I have an original Bandini from 66... and it was signed with a felt pen... that may look like a sharpie... I know its real as I have a picture of my God Mother getting it signed... she really thought Bandini was the ... bees knees! back then... although its in black felt pen....
