avatar help

im not sure where to post this but if its moved please let me know where to.
im trying to put an avatar on my sign and it can only be 80 x 80 pixels and i cant figure out how to change the pixels, when i do try the pic comes out way to small and eliminates the actual picture, any ideas ??

Another way to do it, is to upload your picture to an album at somewhere like Fotango.com. You get a thumbnail when viewing the album which you can them save to your pc. Then you can crop the thumbnail if neccessary using microsoft photo editor. Use the image crop menu item, then change the units from inches or cm to pixels.

For some reason Fchat sometimes rejects 80x80 avatars but if you reduce them to 79x79 they're ok?
