So I was driving by the airport yesterday (I forgot the airshow was going on) and a plane flew overhead. I didn't think anything of it but it was sort of quiet. I look thru the sunroof and boom there is the flying wing about 2500ft up. Needless to say I almost wrecked. It flew over me (right to left) and went into a right hand turn in front of me banked vertical - I almost wrecked again. I did manage to get a crappy cell phone pic though. I've been around a lot of military aircraft but not the B2. That is one intimidating plane.

A few years ago, I was sitting in a park and spotted a B2, that was flying to an airshow.

    It looked unreal.

A giant R.C. airplane and or some type of UFO :D.

There is something eerie about the way it looks against a blue sky, it strikes me that way every time.

I worked on the program and got to go and see one out in Palmdale. It is an amazing plane to see up close and it is even crazier to see the the 15 ton MOP they are being outfitted for currently.

When I drive out to Mammoth (from LA) I always keep my eyes peeled for experimental and other planes flying around Edwards.

Somehow, if I just saw the picture without a description, I would have said it was a stealth fighter, not the B2...

The way things are going... there may be very few new military aircraft in the near future anyway.
