    Desserts, yes. Food, yes. :)

There's probably a fair share of seafood that would not benefit from bacon, cheese, or bbq sauce, however.

I'm telling ya, it's awesome! I have always been a late-night food junkie. A few times a month around midnite, I'll bang out an order of French Toast...Heated syrup, powdered sugar, the whole bit. While cooking the FT, I'l ghetto nuke a few peices of thick bacon. You can't help not getting the two mixed up together! Man, this is making me hungry! Off to the car to pig out on a fresh apple fritter I bought this afternoon.....God's second best thing to eat!

It's not a proper meal if you cannot feel your arteries hardening when finished eating.

That bacon artery cross-section looks like a fried egg on top of some Canadian bacon, topped with a filet!

Shredded cheddar, or the liquicheese for nachos?

I know I enjoy letting some shredded mild cheddar melt into an oily goopy mess on top of some 8 Alarm chili. Yum!

How about cooking off a weave and placing it on top of a waffle before lowering the top of the waffle maker lid down on the batter? That may be interesting.

The hard thing for me is my wife banned all non-stick cookware a couple years ago. Understandably so, but I used to love using the waffle iron and our electric griddle. I need to find a stainless equivelent.

    I'm alive......

I didn't eat all of it though, I tossed about 1/3 into a Cesar Salad and the rest is sitting in 4 chunks in the fridge. Ready for breakfasts with a high bacon-to-sammich-ratio!

Crispy edges with a soft, chewy center. Nice work!

I personally like to fry as much fat out of my bacon as I can. I picked up two packages of bacon to experiment with more this weekend *rubs hands together*.

I dropped into a local " hole in the wall" breakfast place after this thread started, showed the owner a picture of the " Bacon Weave " and suggested she add that to her already large pancakes ( 14-16" diag ) and eggs breakfast platter. ( The pancakes are " large" and would go well with the weave IMO) I made sure to ask her to give F-Chat the credit for the idea. LOL

p.s. " Ham-n-Eggs " is off 121 and Round Grove Rd, Lewisville Tx
