Ralph was the first spin out on the new track (go figure) and Kimi blew an engine 10 minutes into the session. Ferrari at the top of the charts again. Looks a good race weekend is in store.

Coulthard had a left rear tire implode going into a hard right hander. That was right after a change to softer compound...McLaren are having a tough start to the season ... BAR's looking consistent.

BAR actually really looked good this morning. It is nice to see some other teams step up to the plate.

I think Kimi maybe moving to the kicking phase.

I woke up ten minutes late and did not see Kimi's blow up. Did he cry or punch anybody?

*IF* they have to change that engine, Kimi looses 10 positions on the grid automatically. But maybe they can fix it without engine replacement.

The bad news: another boring race, at least up front.

The good news: the Red Horde dominated again.

One of my coworkers is a McLaren fan. I'll bet he's miserable right now!

Didn't notice, but would expect this to continue. What goes aound....

Not very nail-biting (unlike some of the MS/JV races years ago), but some great mid pack dicing. For Bernie, what F1 needs is Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart... and Ferrari vs DEI... :)

It' amazing to me just how far McLaren-Mercedes has fallen - something's up somewhere.

    Ferrari 1 and 2!!
Ralf had a terrible day. (he was in all sorts of bad situations)

McLaren ....They better wake up cuz they're not even close to Ferrari. Plus they're not reliable.

    My opinion on the race...
Up front ...there was no action but when Button was getting closer and closer to JPM , I got scared!:) Finally JPM had brake problems and other stuff.
Now what I liked ....its at the back!! Lots of actions!!
    At the beginning....Klien with Raikkonen
You had Alonso that was everywhere! ...like when he passed Massa!
What about when Ralf made his move on Sato. (Whose fault? was it fair?)

Next race I hope Alonso does better in qualifying because I really wanna see him up front with MS, RB, JPM.

    Forza Ferrari!

Today was another example of Ferrari's current supremacy. These guys just continue to work harder and harder and never sit on their accomplishments.

Bridgestone is a force to be reckoned with and has once again demonstrated that talk is cheap and race performance is all that matters.

The British teams do not like this at all and will have a very difficult time recovering.

I think we may even improve on the 2000 season!!!!

Forza Ferrari and congrats to all the staff at Maranello.

Only wish Enzo was here to see it.

Indeed, a great result for Ferrari!!! :D Again!!! :D

I guess they are supposed to look a bit like the architecture of the tower next to the track...

I was curious what the drivers thought of the new track. Schumacher's comments after the race: "interesting".
