    Hi folks,

My battery drained on a relatively new F8. I connected the charger but it keeps going through the sequence of Flashing red - quick yellow - flashing red. It’s been around 6Hrs and no progress.

What are my options here? Is it possible to boost the battery with an external battery and cables? I don’t want to damage any electronics…

Any experience and direction with this sort of problem is much appreciated.

Is the charger making a beeping noise as well? Also, have you tried to disconnect from car, wait 10 secs and then reconnect?

    Options,

Demand a new battery from your Ferrari dealer.

Going by your number of posts you are new here.

Your Ferrari needs to be on the charger 100% of the time for the battery to last a bit of time.

However in transport it isnt on a tender. Cells in the battery get damaged.

Ferrari will say we will recharge the battery however your battery will fail soon after again.

Demand a new battery. Mark the current one so you can tell it has been changed.

Also do yourself a favour and buy a starter . YOU WILL need it one day.

Providing you did no option for a Lithium battery ,consider getting a booster starter at your local Walmart. You can buy them with the optional permanent attachment in case you need to jump start in the future. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Search "Braille i48CS" on the forum and you'll find a lot of information.
