Alright, there never seems to be any sports discussions here. I know there's a section, but I prefer to keep this local. My two biggest beefs with Sunday night's loss to the Vikings are:

1--Dropped passes. I tuned out late in the 3rd, but by that point receivers had dropped several passes that were right on their fingertips. WTF? Seems like Forte is their only reliable outlet.

2--Devin Hester. The bloom is officially off the rose for #23. Opposing teams have successfully compensated for his ability to the point where he no longer returns kick-offs. And the way the Bears have been giving up points, that adds up to a lot of potential returns. Watching him line up on offense, he seems to make far too many mistakes--dropped balls, botched routes. Sure, he broke a reception for a touchdown. But the interception Orton threw in the second half was a blown route by Hester.

I don't fault Lovie too hard for going for it on 4th and goal. If you can't punch it in in 4 efforts, then why show up?

Run Babich out of town, man do we miss Rivera. Lovie sux also!!! The Bears need a fiery coach to get them motivated (Bill Cower comes to mind.)

Agreed--the players were defending Babich, but after a while you have to face reality. I like Lovie, but this is the NFL. As much as I admire a cool, calm coach, there comes a time when you need to chew some holes out of some rear ends. Is Cowher even considering a return? I saw the Browns fans courting him with signs and t-shirts. That would be rough for him to come back to Cleveland. Bears would be a much smarter move:)

Last two years they had Brendan Ijenbenho(spelling) as his special team bull dozer. That guy was a stud. He left for free agency.

What Hester did the past two years spoiled us. The record for return TD's is something like 13...for a dudes career.
10 in two years is ridiculos but we shouldnt give up hope yet. All it takes is one tuddy and we all love him again.

    Babich sux
Urlacher is a prima donna and is worried about what is ex is gonna say about him in the Joliet Times.

Briggs is doing ok but the D is bad. They make ****ty QBs All Pros....Matt Ryan, Rodgers, Greise, all passed on the big time.
THey cant stop the run as Petersen has shown...then again no one stops that MOFO.

Bright Spot? Forte. That dude will be great for years. A slimmer, less powerful Walter Payton...RIP 34. Not comapring them yet but the dude is leading in rushing and recieving yards and TD like a certain # 34 did while roaming the field from 74 - 87.

Oh and while we are on the Bears. STOP PRAISING DITKA. Why do we all love this guy?

Final record prediction? 7-9...again and Lovie and Babach fired.

I was shocked at how easily the Vikings intercepted 3 passes by Orton. Thats not like him... got to say though that pass to Hester was impressive. I think it was like 65 or 70 yards...

    Bottom line, the Bears suck!

Last season was a fluke and so was Hester, this season he's showing his true ability which ain't so good. But hey, what does he care, he's still getting big bucks!

Da Bears and Cubs......losers.....they just had a few lucky breaks last season.

I'd echo all the comments on the painful loss Sunday night but add to that one more insult. My Bears 2009 playoff ticket invoice came in the mail on Saturday. The ego on these front office guys.......

I can't believe no one has mentioned Ron Turner...I'm no NFL Defensive Coordinator and I KNOW every play in his repertoire...

I mean, come on, Lovie it too calm, it's the NFL, Babich isn't good, but Turner is just plain TERRIBLE!

What are you saying...three stuffs up the middle are conservatively predictable?
