It's funny; I've been thinking about Boxers and lately there's a lot of threads on them. It would be quite an upgrade from my Lotus; it's a pity I'm really on a Mondial budget. But it's in the back of my mind. Pure Ferrari! Power, looks, noisy, smelly, no trunk, lots of expensive repairs and maintainence (or is this not true??) and I'm sure grins from ear to ear. Plus as a bonus, they are the most overlooked, undervalued CAR let alone Ferrari out there.

all true! overlooked...becoming less so w/ each year and each new 360 or 430 produced.

the boxer is the last of the hand made monsters!

btw...the car ref. above has been the subject of some complaints largly due to the claim of clean car fax! apparently it has been wrecked to a total loss status. do remember that a total loss can be achieved w/ a bit more than a fender bender!

Guys:
If your interested in this car, save the E-bay images to photo software and magnify them. Take a real good look at the inside of the raised front bonnet. There seems to be overspray everywhere. Looks like lots of body work on the front bonnet. Look at the upper left corner of the front bonnet near the latch hook. The skin appears to have been hit.
Also take a look at the pedal pads. Look like the correct amount of wear for the stated mileage? The ring for the emergency light receptacle, also appears to have traces of leather dye on the plating.
