Was wondering which actors deserve metioniong (in your opinion) of best villain.

I was watching TV today, and Gangs of New York happened to come on. Daniel Day Lewis was nominated for best actor for his role as The Butcher, and I was dissapointed he did not win. He is, IMO, the best villain. His performance is incredible in that movie.

    My fav:

Best non-physical harming Grand Moff Tarkin
Founder of the Empire's Rule by Fear Doctrine, only person to outrank Darth Vader aside from the Emperor himself. He expressed a cold calculating evil that was plain cool.

    Best video game villain: Sephiroth
    He made FF7.

Best villain turned good guy in a later movie: the Governator himself. :)

Best physical harming villians: These last 2 need no introduction, too bad the movie with both of them in it together was too short. :(

The other night I caught a little bit of one of those Chuck Norris "Missing in Action" flicks - that dude who plays the POW camp commander was just a villain! Hsssssssssss! Couldn't wait for Chuck to kick his a*s.

Please...Darth Vader was a Jedi hack and Boba Fett was just a thug that flew into a giant worm in the desert.

Khan was pretty cool, though I did expect him to drift off into some reverie about Corinthian Leather.

    #1 Bad guy? Jack Torrance.

    Jame Gumb pegs the creepometer.

I am such a huge fan. I have some of the songs from the soundtrack and have the latin to english translation of "One Winged Angel".

Subsequent FF games have completely sucked. I, II and VII are the best.

VII reigning supreme of course due to Sephiroth and Genova...

I assume you have played Chronotrigger as well. If so, you will see that the track bears a strong semblance to a few Pink Floyd tracks...

Nope, is it an RPG??? I would never think to associate OWA with Pink Floyd.

Is it worth my time to go get it?

It was one of THE RPGs for Super Nintendo (along with FF3 (Japanese FF6). Amazing game with 12 endings. Once you beat the game once you can keep your stats and most of your inventory and play again. (allowing you to unlock the harder endings)

I HIGHLY recommend it, esp if you are like me and into the old 16 bit RPGs.
