Yes, it was about a Murci Roadster cruising around Italy & the technology that goes into building such a work of art.

    Hey Mr Dee Jay....
And the driver was sitting in the car with his head higher than the windscreen (i.e. too tall for the car)

    A rollover would be interesting....

The same issue Nev had with the Murcie Roadster when he test drove it. He seems to be a tall bugger :). I have a pic here, but better not post it without his permission. I may also be accused of stealing the pic? Lol :p

Moretti is the biggest playboy on the GC. Maybe he unloaded one of his girls off to Cam. Such a nice fellow JM is. ;)

I watched it. The Murcie on display was orange in colour. Looked mean, especially from the rear. The commentator quoted power @ 585bhp, if my memory serves me correct.

    Hey Mr Dee Jay....
And these roll bars are actually behind the driver, so you are right in that there is a level of protection there, but if you inverted the Lambo, the lowest point, or first point of contact for the road or dirt or whatever it is you have crashed into, will be the driver's head....

Or... the driver's head may hit the front windscreen frame...

Either way, not so pretty... :(

pop-up rolls bars are now a marketing requirement, like airbags. Neither is a bit of use in an impact above about 60kmh, but they make people feel safe - like sitting up high in a 4WD.

Interestingly, 4WD's are responsible for something like 80% of head-injury fatalities in Australia and account for 40% of roll overs, way out of proportion to the number in use.

I've yet to see a convertible Landcruiser, so I guess that big tough roof isn't so useful after all...
