    I thought this was pretty cool. The Caterpillar D11 is a big machine at ~130 tons. Tip one over and you have a real problem... unless you have something like a Bucyrus Erie 2570WS handy....

    Holy crapola! I'd love to get a look at a D11, maybe take a few passes. Drag line even cooler. I had old friend up in Dallas area who bought stuff like this for fun ''on the farm''. Used a dragline he picked up at auction to make a lovely lake...Got to drive his D8 a bit as well. Kids flipped it, never hurt. Estate gone now, but damn that was fun.
