Since today is Gerald's birthday (call him, 770.381.1993, or email him, [email protected], and wish him a happy birthday), i figured we could all hear your Ferrari birthday stories... What Ferrari stuff you got on your birthday, maybe you got a ride or gave someone a ride or maybe you got an actual Ferrari...!

    On my 18th birthday I got a ride in a 512 TR.
My neighbour knows the owner very well and so my mom organised a ride for me. We drove over 1 hour around and it was really great. It was the first time I got a ride in a Ferrari (second time was this year in Wolfgangs testarossa)!

BTW the owner bought the car as an accident car 8 years ago and rebuilt it completely by his own with only original Ferrari parts.

We bought the second 308GTB in 2004 on the weekend of my birthday......

    Flew to Portland OR.

Wine with Mario the next day.....

The following Monday, as we churned and burned thru Phoenix, we looked over at Firebird Raceway to spy a yellow 250LM practicing....

Looking at Valeria......"Can I go back and watch for awhile???"

    "Sure, it's your birthday!!!"

    "Oh, yea."

Now THAT was an awesome set of pics, 275GTB Lemans was there too, lots of shots of the yellow 250LM.........some Lister Jags and Lotus F1.......Shelby Daytona Coupe.....the Track workers thought we were there to do hot laps!!!! LOL!

Someone should buy my subscrpition, I'd share! ;)

Of course, I had to make up the lost time thru West Texas, after clearing US Customs at El Paso, while Valeria slept.

I think we blew thru Balmorea at 125MPH or so......she took over at sunrise, as we came thru San Antone....remind me to get a TR next time, sleeping in the 308GTB, cricked my neck!

Well it doesn't directly involve Ferraris, except insofar as I've been a life-long Ferrari nut and long-time owner, but I was born in a car- does that count? Suffice it to say that my late father didn't drive like I do and didn't make the hospital in time, so my actual "birth day" was largely spent in the hospital parking lot (couldn't be admitted right away, having been born in an unsterile environment).
P.S.: I said "born", not "conceived".

Fr my 23rd birthday this past year, I rented a 360 modena from Gotham Dream Cars in NYC. Had the car for 12 hours that day, I think I spent 12 hours and 15 extra minutes in the car. It was unbelieveable!!! When I returned the car to the garage that night my friend was laughing at me b/c I refused to get out of the driver's seat....I could have slept there!!! And as sad it is to say, getting back into my '04 M3 to drive back to my apartment was one of the most depressing experiences ever that night.

I spent the whole day driving around NYC and NJ, gave both my father and mother rides in teh car and picked up a few friends for a cruise. I picked up my GF of the time from her office and I had to kick her outta the car after driving her around for an hour, she was hooked as well and didn't want to leave.

I had been in a few Ferraris before, even driven a few.....but it's like everyone always says, everytime you get a chance to drive a Ferrari is the BEST TIME you've driven a Ferrari.

Fantastic company, very professional. If you're ever in NYC, check them out
