This car is beautiful in person! I wasn't to sure about the pictures because the car looked kind of ugly in the pictures, but I saw a black one at the BMW dealership the other day and it was beautiful. BMW has done it again.

I looked at the 645 convertible. I wasn't too impressed. Decent looking car but not as good looking as the SL IMO. Like the SL it drives out nice, but didn't excite me. Acres of plastic on the inside. In a back to back comparison I favored the new SL slightly, but neither car had me excited enough to want one. Kind of sad as I love the old 6-series and had high hopes for the new one.

Personally, I think the back is ugly. Perhaps it looks better in person than in pics? I called my dealership to put my name on the list for the M6 over a year ago (I would have been #1 on the list), but then I saw pics of the back and I wasn't crazy about it at all, so I told them I wasn't interested.

    Here are some pics -

Better than some of the Bangle bungles, but still ugly. And the performance reviews are pretty ho-hum.

The coupe looks like a 2-door version of the Volvo S80 crossed with an Aston Martin (maybe DB7... DB9?).

Sorry folks. I don't like the looks of the new body style. Die hard fan of the ol' 6 series, I drove a modified 633CSI in collage. Ahh hat was some fun times. ;)

I like the 6 more than the new 5's but I think that the 7 looks the best of all the new BMWs. The 3 is still the best but it hasn't been redone and hopfully won't.

I don't like any of the Bangle-d Bimmers. The look has even crept into the 3-Series a bit.
