    This is a car I built over a period f years. The engine is an aluminum block 383 Donovan, driving a Porsche G-50 transaxle. This was my first ever run on the Bonneville Salt Flats during the USFRA "World of Speed" in September of 2001. My timing slip read 157.458 mph. I was taking it VERY easy.

    I crewed there for years. but stopped 9 or so years ago. Last I looked we still had the E Blown Gas Streamliner record at 334.260. Fun times.
    I hope you went as fast as you set out to.

    That;s a good speed for E/ BGS. This Speedweek might see the first 500 mph run. I'll bet few on this forum have ever been to Bonnevillie.:)
