The Veyron was racing a 599. The 599 had no license plates and was able to get away with it while the Veyron was stopped and got a ticket for speeding (€ 90.00) + 3 points on his license.

Not too bad for a bit of fun!

    Sprite,

Are you kidding? 4 cop cars needed to get you out of the car and a 125/70 with reckless! I hope you did get put on the ground and don't want you driving anywhere near me!

Drivng these machines is a privlege that commands great responsibilty that you obviouly don't have. Sell your car and take the bus!

Yuck!..I know that feeling well. Being pulled over by a highway patrol on the way from Chicago to St. Louis back in 1993, still hauting me........hehe.

(It was on 2 am at 104 mph, my closed moment to jail.)

    Drive safely guys,

My understanding is that 30+ over the limit gets an automatic reckless. We all know that we can do 125 in our cars without it being reckless. Don't be so quick to judge.

Lets assume I was even going 125. 30mph+ over the speed limit is automatic reckless. Now can you please explain to me what is reckless about going 125mph on a straight interstate way on dry road, clear weather with no traffic in a car with CCBs and superior handling to most other vehicles on the road, when the road is zoned for worst case scenarios [18 wheeler, wet road, night]. Yes I will sell my cars and take the bus. Thanks for the tip, I don't know what I would have done without your infinite source of wisdom.

While driving these cars command a great responsibility that I obviously don't have, obtaining these cars command intelligence, something you obviously don't have, so keep that Ferrari on your wanted list.

Just noticed this post. I spoke with the owner a few weeks after it happened (back at ZR Auto) and it's one of the most entertaining stories I've heard. Anyway, it's a sad event, but a rather amusing story. I don't think he'd like it much if I repeated it here, however.

Nothing at all came of this. We were all driving in single formation and one of the vipers decided to cut to the front of the line. He was clocked at 84, so the trooper pulled us all over. More of a ball buster than anything. He walked around and talked with everyone, wanted to know where we were going, etc. They were taking pics because...well.... how often do you see 30 exotic cars pulled over on the highway?

Let him do what he wants. Its his car, his money, and his life. He doesn't need mom and daddy to tell him how to drive.

Unfortunately though, the innocent lives that are lost with stupid acts are not his. You didn't think about that, did you?
