Long time since i posted but been way too busy and anyway want some good old fashioned F-chat advice/opinion!
Had the 575 two years now and its time for a change.
options are 430 and pay over list, Gallardo, Superamerica, DB9 or Vanquish S, Ford GT or wait and pay over odds to speculator on 599!
i think i am fed up with V12 depreciation after a 456 and 575 and want to have something everyday useable but not Porsche.

    what would you guys do?

Hard top 430 could not cost much over list depending on mileage & spec - if you are really really lucky you might even get a list new build slot - unless you want a spider for the summer - Ford gt is list or near list in USA so could be personally imported fairly cost-effectively - should be a few nearly new Gallardos chopped against spiders (like the 430)

It must be awful having such a dilemma :D

At the risk of being labelled a traitor I would go for the Gallardo - it is the most exotic looking of the cars you list. Maybe it is a wee bit showy (especially in Lime Green) but none of these cars are supposed to be subtle!

Daily use may be a bit of a bind in the Lambo - in which case the Astons in metallic grey (do they make them in any other colours?) would get my vote.

defo go for the aston for every day use, as long as you stick a prancing horse sticker on your window just so you remember who the superior manufacturer is! ha!!!

If you're worried about depretiation go for slightly older 355/360, both still superb cars

thanks guys, looks like its a three way fight Gallardo vs 430 vs DB9. all good cars , 430 best but will be higher price. Suppose will depend on who does the best deal on the 575 !

Gary - the Lambos resale potential takes a bit of a kicking in this thread on Pheads. It makes interesting reading...
