I have a question. Is it worth it to drive up to Captree (about 2 hours for me) during the winter months? Or should I wait until the weather starts warming around (around March or so)?

I have never been, and I know they must usually be really great gatherings, so I definitely would like to go in the coming months.

If the weather is clear and its over 40 degrees, then there is usually a very nice turn out. Over 50 degrees you better get there early.

Still lots of cars. Starts early, pretty full by 8am. Tons of Vettes & Mustangs with a lot of other interesting stuff thrown in. Bunch of Ferraris today. Mostly 360s & 430s + a 550 Barchetta. Haven't seen the Mondial group in a while though!

In the summer there is a much larger turnout at the OBI parking lot. It's about a mile or so north of Captree on Ocean Parkway. Don't have to pay to get in either.
