    Hey guys, I just sold my 08 F430 and bought a 2014 458 spider. It's suppose to be here this week and I am pretty excited about it. I did have a question if anyone knows - the 458 has a carbon fiber steering wheel, but the rest of the interior is aluminum (shift paddles, dash and console). Does anyone know if a carbon fiber upgrade kit is available and if so what the cost would be? Either way, I think I'm going to love the car.

    Call John at MACarbon, Belmont CA (650-489-4415). He sells all the carbon parts. Although installation of the paddles and console parts is easy, installation of the dash inserts requires a professional. Check with John regarding installation.

    If you go for carbon fiber paddles I highly recommend the extended ones from Carbonio.

    Thank you for the recommendations guys. For interior bits MAcarbon is excellent and we always send customers to them who are looking for a part we do not make. I would however like to echo LVP488's comments and urge you to consider our extended reach shift paddles that really enhance your driving experience. We find that our biggest challenge is just getting people to try them but by the first mile everyone loves them.

    Call Denis or Ian at MyRicambi, 561 900-7033 I did my whole interior, parts are beautiful, fit perfectly and manufactured in Europe... not that Chinese crap... Brass or aluminum fitting in screw holes and i defy you to tell it from OEM. tell them Larry told you to call. Stuff is truly amazing!

    I heard if you remove dash and change the dash vents to CF you get creaking and other noises. Is this true? If so that would drive me nuts.

    I have upgraded my dash with the product from MyRicambi and it is beautiful.. is a beautiful enhancement of the interior and there is no creaking. Plus they have the A/C control cover in Carbon, and the door handles. All look amazing.
