Carbon wheels

Has anyone heard anything substantiated about the carbon wheels on the Pista?

I have heard of both production delays and cracking but nothing “official.”

 

I heard the allocation has been sold out including stocked wheels and planned production but nothing of a faulty wheel. I also heard because of the demand may be released as an after sale option in the future.

Confirmed, not eneough capacity to satisfy the demand. For now they are sold out!
I didn’t hear about cracking issues

They canceled them from the options of Pista Spider

Perceived wisdom on here was to order carbon fibre wheels so they appeared on build sheet but fit standard wheel purchased from dealer.
I do atelier at factory in a few weeks for mine so I will see if that is still possible.

 

Cracking would surprise me! I mean, whilst obviously possible, carbon fiber for wheels have been around for a few years already?
My bet is on production capacity issues!
