Wanted Carrera GT

Well just like everyone else on the planet—I want a Carrera GT. Please contact me if you have one available. Unlike many other buyers, I prefer a car with higher miles as I plan on driving it. I’m open to color, but I feel strongly about a no stories car with great service history and I prefer a limited amount of owners. Thanks in advance for any leads!

A buddy of mine has one up in Michigan. No stories with the car and has all the servicing records, but it has 4 owners and I believe 15,000 miles? He bought it and realized that the car is a bit too much for him and it's been garaged for more practical cars. He's picking up an SVJ so I am sure he'd be willing to let it go, PM me and I'll put you two in touch.

No affiliation. Brian Albertson 471-3006980 has a 1300 mile silver one for sale. I have bought and sold cars through him and have always been very satisfied with him.

Well. I always give credit when it's due. Sterling sold my silver CGT 2 months ago. He got me what I wanted. Quiet deal and it went to a very respectable gentleman.
Young or old don't matter. It's the results that matter. I will buy or sell thru him in a heart beat.

Check with CJ Wilson at Porsche Fresno. I believe he has one or two available and he keeps a good list on which cars to stay away from that are out their on the market and also hidden in garages.

The car should be properly inspected and he admits it will likely need a new clutch shortly and engine out service. You’ll probably be in at least another 40k for the service work it needs done in addition to what ever price is negotiated. Cams will likely need replacing but those are still under warranty. Be prepared for service to take about 30-45 days due to parts availability.

Salomondrin's old CGT. $675k but it has been repainted from grey to pink...

 

That’s a fantastic paint job. They did a great job with the details.

 

My issue with Al's car is its been painted by a non Porsche dealership. It would be worth more if it was still its OEM color.

 

I wouldn't let the non porsche dealership thing scare you off. Porsche dealers are often either own or just use collisions shops. You do not really want a collision shop repainting your whole car. The methods are not the same

 

I have access to a black/Ascot 2005 with 1600 miles, but it's not cheap....
