Are there any F-chat members in the Catskills, or nearby? I want to put a run together before the snow.

    Provisional date: November 20

I am up in NW Connecticut and interested in a drive/run, how far away are you. My usual run take me up rt7 in ct to lime rock and back, say 50-90mph roads. Happy to explore different routes where the horses can gallop

    Boxerman,

I've been travelling a lot and have not had much time on F-chat. I am in the S-E corner of the Catskills, 15 miles W of Woodstock.

Looked at the map, I am closer to cornwall bridge lime rock area. See that the route to you takes rout 199 by rhinebec, a great piece of road.

Last week we had snow and the roads are now all covered in sand and crap.
Maybee the rain this weekend will wash it away. Possibly then we could do a drive thanksgiving weekend time.

How are the roads out by you are there some good quiet speed stretches.
If it doesnt happen this year I would definatly be game for organizing some springtime runs.
